So I’m sort of feeling the funk right now. In the last two days I’ve had the opportunity to talk with four pastors in four different churches about the websites that I’m building for them. I’ve traveled over 700 miles and I’ve still got roughly 375 more to go before I’m finally home.

I’ve got to admit – I’m feeling pretty good about the meetings. I’m feeling the Funk. The knowledge that what God has called me to do is to support these pastors in their ministries by helping them use technology is really exciting for me! I can’t wait to get home and start working on these sites! So I’m feeling the Funk!

So – What makes you feel the Funk?

The future is here. I was in a Wallgreens picking up some necessary items for my dental care and I stood in line for 5 minutes while I watched a Boomer female collect coupons out of her purse with a line of about 15 people behind her just so she could get a 4 to 5 bars of soap, some anti-wrinkle cream, and a thing of discounted cookies with her coupons. This is what it will be like for the rest of our life until the Boomers for gone.  listenThe sad thing is that when the Boomers are all gone – we’ll be too old to do anything. What should we do??? 

On my way to meeting, very excited about what’s going on today. I think that there is so many opportunities to seek out, to work in my life and that’s just amazing sometimes [...] in front of me and what he says to me and how he works with me, it’s uncanny sometimes I feel like he is actually molding me and shaping me, I feel like I could actually feel that at times, but he is uncomfortable but at same time very very exciting. listen
